| Clay Weber | claydoh | 44 | Brewer | Restaurant Manager | Linux user since 2000, I went full-time in February 2002 with Lycoris Linux (now defunct), one of the original 'User-Friendly' single-cd Linux distros. In 2005, I moved to Kubuntu, which has been my main OS since. I am a moderator at http://kubuntuforums.net, and I do some Kubuntu-related wiki pages and release notes. A die-hard KDE guy at heart, I chose Kubuntu for its' solid Ubuntu/Debian base as well as it's team being a small subset of the Ubuntu ecosphere. |

| LinuxLab207.com | linuxlab | 49 | Augusta | Retired Computer Aided Designer | LinuxLab207.com - A virtual weed growing up through the cracks of the crumbling Maine economic infrastructure. Recycling some of my computer skills. 2009 CompTIA A+ Certified. I started using it because I was broke and it was free, now I just use it because it works better than Windows. I'm currently exploring virtualization and hypervisors system configurations. I encourage my clients to try it by building dual boot systems. Sadly they don't want to pull themselves away from the BSOD phenomena kind of like beaten-wife-syndrome. |
